This was SO fun for me to look at today while I was preparing this post! You know I love making sibling shirts... Big Sis, Big Bro, Little Sis, Little Bro.... I've made lots for gifts and to sell.
I can't believe my little guy wasn't even born yet when I first posted this!
Here is what I wrote in Aug 2010...
Big/Little Brother/Sister
I'm so excited I finished my shirts!
Now all we have to do is wait....
will it be Little Brother or Sister?
I
used fabric paint and freezer paper to do stenciling for the first
time. I LOVE it! I can't wait to find more projects to stencil! I
embellished the paint with some stitches on my machine. I think it would
have been cuter hand stitched, but I just wanted to get finished. The
big brother shirt I made from scratch using two old t-shirts. And the
onsies were white new-born size ones I already had.
I added the cuff and ruffle to the onsies to make them match a little better.
Oh,
and since I won't be using both little shirts... (I'm not having
twins!). I'll do a give-away in a couple of weeks with the one I don't
need! Stay tuned! I did giveaway the girl one... one of my first giveaways!
And...this was the picture I posted just a few weeks later... It was a BOY!!!

oh wow! That little newborn is now on his was to THREE!
Here are a few other styles I've made over the years:
